little bit o everything

so hello everyone. i'm trying this, even though i don't have the slightest idea of what i'm doing. but that's beside the point right? there are tons of people out there, posting their random thoughts, so why shouldn't i add mine? hopefully i'll be able to keep this up...without too much trouble. we'll just have to see, won't we?
